  • You are probably looking for different year, but it is possible to ovulate, get pregnant, ovulate again and have that egg fertilized as well. The babies would not be twins, but could be born on the same day with either the first baby being overdue or the latter baby coming premature. Highly unlikely, but it is possible especially when the mother is on fertility treatments.

  • The mother sold two of her eggs to infertile women. The mother took her $500K and went to Fiji while the two infertile women inseminated the eggs with their husbands (two different men). Conception in both cases happened at the same moment and the births were at exactly the same time. They are not twins, they are merely half-sisters from different misters! (Or they were just born in different years).
