How do AB users lose points? My total today is five less than it was yesterday. How did that happen? It has never happened to me before.

If a post is deleted, does that mean any points any user may have gained from it before it was deleted would be lost after its deletion?

Should the people with the lowest AB points band together and "like" each other's answers and questions?

What's the easiest way to earn 5 points every time I answer a question here? What must I do to get Asker's pick?

You're reading How much time do you have to spend on answerbag daily to get to the "top of the pile" and stay there, and is there a point to the points or is it just human nature to be automatically competetive?

Thanks, so is what you're saying, the higher level a person is the more we should respect their questions/answers? And isn't that partially dependant upon the amount of time a person has given to answerbag? Doesn't it seem just a little elitist? (gulp)

Well, I don't know about respecting their answers, but rather giving them more credit for being accurate. Elitist? I don't think so.. On one hand, higher level members' answers will get more visibility on questions that receive multiple answers, so in that regard, yes, it is a bit elitist. But on the other hand, anyone who posts a good and accurate answer will likely get his answer rated positively, regardless of his point level.
