yes but dint tell anyone :)
-
No reasons right now.
-
No, I passed gas and kept zoning out on sports.
-
Nah, I don't cry :)
-
No, but I got all tingly, and I burst into bouts of clapping in my living room.
-
*runs naked thru the room shouting "GO OBAMA"*
-
No but I was definitely celebrating!
-
Yep....How beautiful was that? Whew! I wish I could have been there too....How about you? Shelly
-
If you are asking if I cried when he won, heck no. I am glad he did, but I was not touched. I am just amused.
-
Speech? lil bit!
-
Your damn right I cried! I am almost out of weed also. I better stock me up on some for the next four years!
-
Got misty eyed a few times, but didn't actually cry.
-
No crying for me, but it was a great speech. Pretty powerful, especially talking about the 106 year old women. Theres another old women who casted her ballot in an ambulance, strong will.
-
Yes I cried. But probably not for the same reasons you did. Obama wants to hit my employer with higher taxes. This means I won't be getting a raise soon. Looks like My boss is gonna have to use that money to pay his higher tax bill.
-
Absolutely, and probably will some more! YEAH, PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!!
-
i was a strong McCain supporter but I will admit, I shed a tear during that speech. A lot of foreigners want to know what makes America so special. Now you know. Because you know in your heart what happened tonight could only happen here.
-
I cried a little
-
I was to busy comforting you:D
-
yeah cause he won we are all screwed
-
I cried when Obama won because i voted for im and believe he will change the US in a good way forever. But i also cried at McCain's speech. I may not support him as presidential candidate, but i still think he's a strong person :]
-
No
-
yes, I was happy, but I cried because his grandmother died 1 friggin day before this...unbelievable. I voted for him not because I liked what he stood for, I just felt our country needed some hope and some serious change.
-
Yes, I did. Not so much because he won, though I'm glad he did, but because history was made. I was touched by how this must feel for African Americans to finally see this day. I cried when he talked about his wishes for his children to have the opportunity to see progress in their lifetime instead of the stagnation we are currently mired in because I wish this for my children as well.
-
I danced.
-
I predicted that I would cry - and I did! I'm more relieved than anything!
-
Yes, happy tears! *Dancin*
-
Yes, I cried like I haven't cried in years. Hope is alive. A native son of Hawaii will be our next president.
-
I cried!! :D Wow, he really did it. :')
-
No, I teared up when he gave his speech though, it was amazing!
-
No. Obama hasn't done anything yet except become the first black US President. While that is an impressive feat in and of itself, I don't care about the color of his skin. I only care about what kind of job he will do as the next US President (black or not). I am going to wait and see what he does/accomplishes while in office before I annotate him the savior of the US and the economy.
-
Sure did... pssst,, what did I cry about huh ¿
-
Yep I did..couldn't help it. It is a privilege to have participated in an historic event such as this. Of course the cameras kept panning over the enormous crowd and seeing others cry kinda stoked the tear ducts. :) ((hugs))
-
No. But I was extremely happy about the change America has experienced today. Obama's win clearly shows that Americans are ready to fight against racism; it clearly marks a difference, a significant forward step towards abolishing racism once for all. I congratulate Obama, USA, all ABers from America here and the rest of the world, happy days-months-and-years ahead.Let peace prevail :) :) Have a great day :)
-
No. Hopefully the Democrats have enough rope to hang themselves with now. Then we can get a real conservative in 2012.
-
no, I just want the US back on track.
-
No... I felt like it, but probably for different reasons.
-
no but I was not happy >_> In fact i got F-ing pissed but w/e idc
-
I sure did!
-
No, the Cubs will win it next year.
-
I smiled, and the tears just rolled down my face.....
-
for what?? I can't believe that piece of unexperienced crap won! keep blasting me... it's true he has no experience to run this country what so ever! We are screwed!!!
-
I started before the New President's speech. McCain was so gracious!
-
Yes. i'm african american and it was very touching. it was such a wonderful feeeling.
-
yessss
-
Chris, I cried. USA had hit rock bottom and so many people cried yesterday. The atmosphere was on the streets like a new messiah arrived. I feel very good inside, we are on our way up again, in the world and in our country. I wish president elect Obama the strength he needs. He was not even joyous or exuberant yesterday, he knows that it will be hard work and long hours in the office.
-
Yes, during McCain's speech.
-
Monumental moment for this country and it's people. I might have bawled a bit.
-
no i didnt cry lol
-
I cried during both of their speeches. I'm an avid Obama supporter, but I felt McCain conceded gracefully, and beautifully.
-
No I did wonder why CNN was calling states before they had any polling data making me think the thing was rigged and now this. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/deadlineusa/2008/nov/04/uselections2008-republicans
-
I welled up with tears of joy!
-
No but I do feel like a big weight was lifted off of America's shoulders. Well, maybe two.
-
I was asleep.
-
I am going to wait. I suspect there will be plenty of time for tears once the "change" goes into effect.
-
I didn't cry but I was very disappointed.I love democracy, but last night was an example of democracy at its worst. I also love majority rule, but I really believe that the majority was wrong. I hope I am wrong but America made the stupidest choice it could’ve possibly have made. They voted for a man who is associated with known terrorists and known racists. They voted for a man whose economic plan will take money from those who have worked hard for it and will give it to the lazy bums. They voted for a man whose wife is known to be anti-American. Of course, that was ignored though, just because he is Anti-Bush. To all you Obama supporters; enjoy it now because I think you will be regretting it within a year. I believe that it is my patriotic duty to support the president because he is taking on a challenge greater than I am willing to take on. It will be hard for me to do that here.
-
I laughed Loudly, on thinking bout the future!!!! It's in Obama's hand. He might make ppl to cry or to smile in future! Nothing can be foreseen now. Every thing is dark. Deep hallow!!
-
I cried like a baby and so did my husband and 7 year old son, who as young as he is understands the importance of this election. I wish those of you who were adamant McCain supporters would go do your research on Obama, instead of just forming your opinions of him from what Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and the negative attack ads said about Obama. I think he will be a wonderful president.
-
I had many happy reactions, crying being the last once I got over the initial shock. I'm also hoping that the man I voted for is going to be all that I expect, and that he does what he says he'll do. So I'm still grounded and realistic about how unsure the future is for us right now. I cried mostly because I never thought I'd see this. At least not this soon.
-
I wish he wasn't black, or that both candidates were black. Would he still have won? The excitement of a possible "first black president" would not be in play, and Americans would have been forced to look at the ISSUES at hand, and how each candidate stood. I think we would be looking at a much different ballgame in that case. I'm disappointed in the shallowness of Americans who voted just to get "the first black president" in office. This is not the next VJ on MTV, people. This is the leader of our great nation and he has a very real power to influence our lives in a very big way. Oh well, common sense goes to the dogs, I guess.
-
No I was sleeping
-
Nah, I didn't.
-
Yes, i got really emotional when i heard he won.
-
yea it was one of the saddest days of my life
-
The crying hasn`t even begun yet, give it time.
