I think it is possible that you people will have a civil war over consumerism or some other crap that you people have serious problems with. Considering all the firearms and explosives that exist in the United States, you'll have a situation where everybody is an 'insurgent', at least in the eyes of the government, where in reality everybody's trying to protect themselves. Whatever happens, it won't be pretty. Then again, America isn't very pretty anyway, what with all the fat people.
