    3 < 2x + 1 ≤ 9
    2 < 2x ≤ 8
    1 < x ≤ 4

    -13 < 3x + 5 ≤ 26
    -18 < 3x ≤ 21
    -6 < x ≤ 7

    12 ≤ -4y + 8 < 16
    4 ≤ -4y < 8
-1 ≥ y > -2 !!!Change the sign by multiplication and you need to switch the direction of the <, >, ≥, ≤!!!

    (> becomes <, < becomes >, ≥ becomes ≤, ≤ becomes ≥)

    -5 ≥ x + 2 ≥ -7
    -7 ≥ x ≥ -9

    -5 ≤ 2 - x ≤ 7
    -7 ≤ -x ≤ 5
    7 ≥ x ≥ -5
