You essentially show Cyndi and Andy you can play nice on AB (the only rule we AB Ninjas have) and ask them if you can join.

Yeah, what a 10sEn said :) You can just add Ninja to your screen name like his and mine. The name isn't as important as playing nice. Respecting your fellow ABers is mighty important to us ;)
