LOL yeah. I have personally experienced that. I have never had dandruff again since I stopped using that "anti-dandruff" shampoo.

The answer to that is yes it can and often does!!!!

Yes it certainly can. Because everyone has a different chemical make-up and certain products that might work for one can have the opposite effect on someone else. This I feel is the reason why so many different kind are flooding the market.

I was just going to say something simplie like Maybe it just isn't working and your dandruff is getting worse.

It could be in the company's interests if you end up buying even more shampoo from them...

It most certainly can....you should always read the instructions on the bottle and the ingredients ,if the product contains Selenium Sulphied then over use can exacerbate the problem...

No, I do not think so. My dermatologist prescribed me nizoral which I have to use twice weekly. I must say my condition has improved by leaps and bounds.

Yes, it can be too chemically harsh for many users. Some just need a scalp moisturizer.
-
yes, especially if you use it too much. My dad is a red-head. he has very sensitive skin, and I went to wal-mart, got this stuff called 100% pure gold. You'll find it where the hair care products for African-Americans are. Use a little, massage it into your scalp. My dad's was totally gone within 6 weeks. You should also be able to find it at Sally's Beauty Supply.
