I am no longer religious. But I would never use an on-line church. Funny thing though, our church had a second service at a drive in during the summer. Kind of strange to eat donuts and drink coffee during church. LOL

Of course. As long as you know the background of the on-line church. Many churches today are taking on this form, and many other forms of media to reach a broader range of people. For instance, my church just recently took over a church that was going to shut down because the membership was almost nil, and because ours is thriving, we decided to take on this church and the two churches would be called Allison Church - Campus 1 and Allison Church - Campus 2. One Church - two locations! Well people wondered how our pastor was going to do the current 3 services at our current location and pick up the one service at the new location at the same time..........well....through video symalcast (I don't know how to spell it), but by video taping the 1st nights service and replaying it the next day at the time that the two services take place at the same time. One church one week will have the pastors sermon on a big screen, while the other church has the same sermon live, than the next week he's live at the other church. My point is that just because it's on a big screen, or on-line on a computer, or on a TV set, does not matter in the least...we need these means to reach everyone.....the ones that don't feel comfortable in large crowds, or can't get out to church (shut-ins), and yes, even you that use on-line church. If it leads you to a deeper faith, that's what it's all about! The point for all of us is to follow Jesus, love God, and love Others, and by watching it on-line or sitting in a pew.....doesn't matter. The difference is only that by attending an actual church, helps you stay connected! We are all a part of one big tree. God is the tree, and we are all his branches....if we break free and try to go it all alone, we will eventually die, for the tree gives us nurishment and life, and all of the other branches help each other to keep hanging on! So........keep hanging on...no matter if it's through on-line or not....at least you're still hanging on....you will eventually get to wanting to get more connected with others!!! Take care and God bless!

No, since I'm not a Christian and being religious and being Christian are not the same thing.
