  • Doxycycline 100 mg. A strong tetracycline antibiotic. These are the known side effects... severe headache, dizziness, blurred vision; fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms; severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash; urinating less than usual or not at all; pale or yellowed skin, dark coloured urine, fever, confusion or weakness; severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back, nausea and vomiting, fast heart rate; loss of appetite, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes) easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness. First of all, you should never take something that you don't know why you are taking it. If you doctor doesn't fully explain, the pharmacist should. And one should check that the other has told you. I would look for a new pharmacist, because this one isn't doing his job properly. Since the side effect isn't listed, it's time to call back that doctor immediately. When you have a reaction to a drug it's ALWAYS time to talk to the pharmacist first and then the doctor. You don't wait, things can get worse... and quickly.
