  • Yes, I did. It was very boring, nothing exciting happened, and the TV schedule wasn't good. It didn't even snow, which made things even less exciting. At least when it snows I have the daily drama of 'will I fall over and split my head open today?' or 'is there dog poo waiting for me to stand in in my new shoes, underneath all that snow?'. Though I suppose that did give me some time to read books that I've been meaning to for ages!
  • Mine was pretty lame. I couldn't make it home to see my family this year which was dissapointing. I pretty much stayed inside all day, except when I went on a date to go see Night at the Museum(pretty good movie). Then I watched a marathon of Venture Brothers. All in all, a pretty big dissapointment.
  • Yes, but getting better year on year. I used to be really grim at christmas but getting used to coping with it. Quite pleased with how well I have done this year.
  • Since our children and grandchildren were in Seattle, my wife and i decided to go to Tunica,Ms. for Christmas. Bad, very bad idea. Tunica has approx. 7 casinos. the weather was bad, the machines were anything but hot. and, a good time was not had by all. I knew this was a bad idea, but my wife was excited to go. gambling on Christmas just did not set well with me, from the beginning. Our spirits were down as we drove back home, broke. But, this story has a happy ending. on the way to turn in our rental auto, we ran across a man lying on the street. he had no pulse and not breathing. i called 911. my wife began cpr. still, no pulse. she did not give up. 10 compressions to one breath. this lasted for 5-6 minutes. all of a sudden, the man took a deep breath and began breathing on his own. the medics arrived and my wife was a hero. she will never admit it, but she was a hero. we left, hoping the man would live. What started out as a lame Christmas, actually became a miracle Christmas. we were at the right place, at the right time, to save a human life. We keep Christ in Christmas. P.S......we will never go gambling on Christmas, again. WE PROMISE!
