1989 f250 replacing brake lights now harness on truck only wires one black with purple stripe two plane black and two off colored wires which is turnsignal wires which is brakes and which is tail lights

take a light, touch one side to metal, touch the other to one wire at a time. Start with one turn signal on ,then the other thats two down put a bar between your seat and brake petal to hold the brake on. do the same thing, the other is probably the license plate light.
