I live in Arizona and my boyfriend lives in California. We have been in this long distance relationship for nearly one and a half years. We can not sell our homes, due to the economy. Now, he said, I can not wait for you forever. Any opinions are needed

I would think that the opposite stance would be taken if he thought you were really "the one" -- he would be willing to wait forever simply because he knew you were "the one". So if you aren't "the one" and he isn't willing to wait, then you need to ask yourself where that places you in his life. Is he prepared to look elsewhere for "the one" and, if so, why are you hanging around? -
