Many times they do,and animals also need representation for their rights.Abused animals are very unfortunate.PETA puts out awareness videos on how cruel the commercial animals are treated then are killed for food.

If you assume that the voice of the wider population in general can be represented to some extend by the voice against PETA among most ABers, then it would seem that there are too many selfish and even cruel people out there to be of any help with PETA's noble cause. Instead, these very people, often uneducated and easily brainwashed, are being used by the livestock and meat industries as propaganda voices to spread hate and defamation towards PETA. This is an extremely hard battle for PETA who has fallen victim to propaganda war from all the meat and livestock related industries, finnancing websites big bucks to defame them into the ground, the moment they introduced the idea of vegetarianism to the general public. But if you are an educated and decent person with a conscience, you'd support them even more for it, because these things can't be carried over to the 21st century for long.
