Catholics and Protestants believe in exactly the same things. The only difference in their leadership structure. A Catholic accepts that the Roman church leadership (pope, cardinals) is part of their faith. A protestant does not.

If you enter an Anglican Church these days you would have a great deal of trouble differentiating between it and a Roman Catholic Church. They are in fact more catholic than catholic if you get my drift. Anglicans are still Catholic, the beliefs are the same as far as the basic principles are ooncerned the predominant difference is political not theological

Of course. The big difference is that Protestant denominations were started by men who didn't agree with Catholic teaching. Catholics believe that the Church was started by Jesus Christ himself, with Peter as His chosen successor and an unbroken line of popes since then. As to whether there has been some very bad popes, yes there were. Some Catholics don't agree with some things, such as birth control etc. It's not easy being a Catholic.

Some of our beliefs are different from the catholics. As far as the bible, all and all we are in agreement. I don't know everything about the catholic church, but I know that they are sincere in their faith. I don't agree with everything they do.

If they have not been Biblically born again, then no. (see John 3, Romans 10:9-13 on being born again or saved.)

Absolutely. While there are differences in tradition, in all honesty, God isn't going to be concerned about that. We follow the same commandments, we generally take the same standpoint on political issues, and we all believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. There are a few other things (such as praying to Mary in Catholic faith) that may be considered contradictary to the other, but from my experience and studies, following either of these faiths leads you straight to heaven (or through purgatory to heaven). Don't forget, they came from the exact same background.

Jesus said all who believe in HIM are HIS mothers, brothers, and sisters.....PLEEEEZ ,HE did not mean HE disinherited HIS earthly family, of course not...just meant those who did not believe would not be in HIS Heavenly family . just thought of the Pharisees and Saducees ..they were brothers in God, but not united in their beliefs...one had their way and ritual and the other had theirs and neither would relinquish Power or their traits...and didn't they HATE each other and they both hated the Samaritans...don't know how God will handle that ..just that HE sent the Savior to show the WAY ..some believed, some HATED......:)justme

The brotherhood that exists across denominations is based on the love that individuals within those denominations have for Jesus, not the banner they wear.
