Too bad not in context. But to be "SAVVY" does mean to be knowledgeable, with a hint of flair, worldiness and savoir faire!

It means "do you understand/do you know what i mean" or "I understand/I know what you mean" and it comes from English slang...which they took from the French word "savoir" which translates as "to know"

SAVVY is an old reference to knowledge , used today in the context of "Do you understand" , "Get it?', or if you say' does he savvy ' it would mean does he know what we are talking about . Can mean is he street wise is he smart?. Basically it means knowledge of a subject Comes from English slang another example of French creeping into the English language.
