  • According to NASA, never: "Will the Sun Ever Turn Into a Black Hole? The sun does not have enough mass to collapse into a black hole. In billions of years, when the sun is at the end of its life, it will become a red giant star. Then, when it has used the last of its fuel, it will throw off its outer layers and turn into a glowing ring of gas called a planetary nebula. Finally, all that will be left of the sun is a cooling white dwarf star." http://www.nasa.gov/audience/forstudents/5-8/features/what-is-a-black-hole-58.html
  • 5, 4, 3, 2, hide!!!!! If you hide and don't come out it'll be ok!!!!!
  • Our sun is too small to ever create a black hole. The mass required is several orders of magnitude greater.
  • I do not believe that will be happening, but, if it were to happen, it would be billions of years from now, long after it sucked the Earth, and many other celestial bodies into its core.
  • Let's put it this way, I wouldn't wait up for it.
  • Its not going to turn into a black hole but it will run out of power and dissolve into a gas. This will be happening in a couple of weeks.
