This wasn't a real great Christmas for me - presentswise (or otherwise). I didn't get anything that I thought was terrific, but I do like the shirt and earrings my sister got me. I don't like the red jar I got from my Mother in law or the feather boa that she got me or the Ralph Lauren tote that she got me. I don't think she knows me very well at all. I gave such thought to the presents I got people and several of them told me that my presents were the best that they got. Oh well, I guess it's the thought that counts....

I know this is gonna sound so corny, but I wasn't happy until my boyfriend made it over. Presents meant nothing to me until he got there.

I saved up this year and bought alot of gifts for people. That's exactly what I wanted to do, but then I realized I might have gone 1 step to far financially. Then today, I got a bunch of great gifts, & my parents gave me a check for 10 LARGE, I was taken a little off guard. In a nice way.

The best-my son gave me a book of hand-made vouchers that I can redeem whenever I like.. There is one for cooking dinner, another for doing all the housework for a day, another for walking the dog, one for taking and collecting his sister from school, one for weeding the garden and lastly one for doing thr weekly food shop! The worst? My ex gave me a scarf that looks like a throw back to the Duran Duran era of the 8o,s, and I tried to give it away to several people yesterday but nobody wanted it!

Our local grocery store has a drawing every year and gives away one year ($100.00 a month) worth of free groceries and guess what, I won so I think that is the best present I got. I don't think I got a bad present everyone that knows me gets me really good things.

the best was that i knew i had people who were thinking about me, as i was about them. i had told everyone i didn't want anything (and i really didn't) but i got presents anyway and i loved them. they were better than anything i could ask for because i knew they got it from their own free will, not obligation. the worst thing was that my dad brought his girlfriend and her kids for our holiday party. Happy Christmahanuquanzadon everyone.... or happy holidays. whichever you prefer.

The best came from my kids: My daughter gave a loads of gift and the best of all: "Chicken soup for the Mother and daughter soul' with a lovely card where she wrote I have single handedly have influenced her life the most and we have always found each other inevitably more stronger and closer in love and relationship. Another one she gave is a wooden cross with engraved words: “Of all the things great and small, mother’s love is best of all.” And from my son: He bought me lovely pearl earrings, all the money he saved in summer by earning through lawn mowing’ packed with loads of love too. The worst: the one I did not receive.

The worst thing for me was getting nothing, not even a call or a card, from the only family I claim. It happens each year like that, but somehow it never gets any easier to realize how uncaring they are. The best thing I got, and usually do, was 500$ cash for me to buy something I see later and want. Alright, but I have to add the following, even at the expense of being rated "not helpful" for this personal question which really can't be wrong. Oh, I can handle the downers, or else I would've left here long ago! I'm just telling it like it is, that's all. Christmas isn't supposed to be about what YOU GET, but about what YOU GIVE! This is what I gave for Christmas 2006: I sent cards to about 10 people, with personal messages in each one; Earrings to 2 special people in my life (yes, 1 of those is a family member I never hear from and they are very nice earrings); Cash to the 2 children next door and a baseball bat; and A leather checkbook cover to another special person who uses this falling apart plastic one I'm sick of seeing! Also, each January I donate money to The Humane Society and the ASPCA.

my tottally fave thing was my ibanez guitar<3<3<3 my least favorite well it was actually pretty cute my lil bro when we were on vavation and saw me getting these tictacs and they turned out to taste petty nasty.anyways soo he remembered that and got me some of those tic tacs for christmas :D

Best- A long electronic piano keyboard. Its length goes up to my waist and I'm about 6'. Worst- A cheap Wal-Mart wallet with a label that read "$9.95" on it. I already have a bigger leather wallet. My grandparents always give us cheap gifts; I thought it was because we didn't give them anything each Christmas. When we called our grandparents like we usually do at Christmastime, they say a phone-call and an update from us are good enough presents for them.

Best: The ornament my daughter bought for me because she picked it out all by herself and paid for it with her own money and did it without me knowing about it. Worst: Don't have one. The few that I got were packed full of thoughtfulness and love.

Honestly Christmas is about family, friends and spending time with them and watching their faces glow when they open the presents you JUSt about killed your self getting! Ans as a parent Christmas morning is the best you just sit back and watch your kids be kids!! With all that said I had a great Christmas!! But on the other hand my family never even called or stopped by. Very hurtful!! Mommy of FIVE so Christmas is very special!! My kids made me a photo frame says "we love Mommy" completely homemade! It's great! Luckily though it's ONLY once a year!

BEST: My best friend, Cathy, made a book called "Our friendship in my eyes" which compiled of poems, memories, pictures & emails we'd wrote to each other since the day we became friends. WORST: A vanilla ice CD. Enough said.

The worst was loosing my a__ at tunica at a casino. will not do that again on Christmas. The best was watching my wife perform cpr on a heart attack victim and watching him come back to life. unbelievable!

The best one was a soft, comfy sweater in my size, my favorite color and favorite fabric (cotton). The one that was least desirable, was the can of Barbasol shaving gel. The person who gave this knows full well that I use an electric shaver. BTW, the gifter of the Barbasol loves cat-themed knick knacks and such. I got her a cat wall clock, a porcelain cat planter for her houseplant and cat-treats for her real cats. Oh well, it's the thought, isn't it?

The best is simply being with family and friends. The worst was the lump of coal I got when I was five. Still, I can't blame them since I was such a pain I earned. It wasn't too bad in any case since it backfired on them, my reaction was 'Oh good! We can light this on fire!'. Never give a pyro something flammable.
