Do you see any sense in different space missions conducted by NASA?Instead of wasting billions of dollers on useless missions ,can't they think 'how can we make earth the better place for living!'

I really don't understand this question. You could ask it about any human activity. Why do companies waste billions of dollars on making mobile phones, when they could make the earth a better place? Making mobile phones has all kinds of benefits, both tangible and intangible, as does space travel. Tangible benefits are the host of products which have become available as a result of space travel, including many which really do make life better. And the intangible benefits are that we are exploring and looking outwards, and while we do that there is some hope for humanity.

What gives you the idea that they're useless instead of military missions with a very definite purpose? Just because the government doesn't tell you something or denies doing it, doesn't mean they're not actually doing it, particulary during the past 8 years, when lies seem to be the first line on the government's agenda
