Maybe (ok, probably.) That the way they treat others would return to them tenfold. So, if they are good to others, they are rewarded. But if they are cruel and disrespectful, they learn the errors of their ways. They are their own self-fulfilling prophecy.

On my first ex wife...Would want her to be constipated for the rest of her life...that way she would know that she was and always has been full of crap.
