A DVD Recorder won't play ANY DVD's, which it has before, but it can play Audio Cd's. What is the problem?

mine is like that i was told it is the lazer which would cost £130 to repair, its a panasonic system which cost me £550. But i refuse to repair it so i bought a cheap dvd player for £20

try using compressed air(keyboard duster) and use small bursts of air to blow into the drive. the lens may be just dusty or dirty.
