  • Sure,,, We always Did,,We would have a little Parade around the school Grounds and our parent would line the route;)!!
  • I never participated in Halloween and it doesn't really matter to me what others do. I don't try to push my beliefs on them as I would hope they wouldn't push their holiday on me. As long as the costumes don't distract from the lessons and instruction being given, it should be fine, only one day.
  • Yes. Those who don't practice Halloween, don't have to dress up
  • Some of the student body not practicing Halloween would only be an issue if we were forcing students to wear costumes. Allowing them to do so or not doesn't infringe on any reasonable rights, because those who don't practice can still choose not to by dressing normally. And if they find it offensive that other people can choose to, that sounds to me like a personal problem.
  • Do you think it's ok for kids(and pretty much everybody else) to take Christian holidays off, even though they aren't practicing Christians? Of course it's ok for them to wear costumes. Live and let live. This whole "we must be politically correct" thing is way out of control
  • Why not!!! It's not a religious holiday. Government workers do it where I live. If you don't believe in practing Halloween or it's against your religion, just ignore.
