Answerbag. -- EDIT: FINE, I'll write a realistic answer. I'd do what I normally do. Hang out with family, cook, use computer, etc. This is assuming the power is on. If the power died too, I'd cook up a bunch of food trying to use all perishables. Anything that we couldn't use, I'd put on the roof. Next, I'd go to the roof and drop down onto the snow with skis on. I'd go to the garage and get some wood for our fireplace. I'd collect all the candles before nightfall, too. Everyone would sleep with MANY quilts on. The cats would be panicking. For breakfast, I'd cook over a blow torch or maybe just have cereal. We'd listen to the radio and play board games for a while. Eventually, I'd get my skis on and begin to clear a path with shovels. It'd be a blast!

Lose weight, because I forgot to go to the market! Actually, it might be nice for a change to just sit at home with the family. We are all here and if the snow thing happened, we'd be stuck with each other. Good question though! Makes you really think about what could happen.

I'm not sure three feet of snow will leave you trapped for three days...it seems like it would take longer. Anyway I would play the Sims because I enjoy playing "god" with little simulated human beings.
-
How would you get stuck in 3 feet of snow?
-
die of hypothermia

this actually happened to me and my cousin when i was in grad school and were were sharing an appartment (granted we weren't stuck for three days, just one and a half). we knew a massive snow storm was moving through that night, so we loaded up on movies, chips, popcorn, and white russian ingredients. the next day we went outside (with a helluva hangover i might add) only to find mountains of snow everywhere. a plow didn't even get to the appartment until almost the day after. one of my fonder memories of grad school =)

Living where I do, 3' of snow does not leave anyone housebound. However during some major blizzards and not allowed on the streets, we play cards with neighbors, use scented candles if electricity went out. We just make our own fun, and sometimes we just play in the snow and visit with other people in our neighborhood. I love snow.

I would be psyched because I wouldn't have to go to work but I would need to go to the liquor store ahead of time.
-
I'd go out and play in it....have a snow ball fight, build a snow fort, the fun would be endless for a few days! Man I wish it it snow!
-
Try to relax and enjoy the short time off as I tend to be a workaholic.
-
I always have some sort of unfinished project or paperwork. I would try to catch up on these. I also am close to a main road, so I could probably walk to the store or take a taxi. It has gotten bad before, but they usually can dig out the main road.
-
Three feet isn't enough to snow anyone in for 3 days here--sorry :) BUT, if I was lucky enough to not have to go to work, I would attempt to catch up on years of not getting enough sleep, read, and play in the snow.

You mean like a blizzard. Been there and done that; but it wasn't 3 days it was two weeks. I have everything I need to survive for about five days. Then, I'd have to improvise.

I live in Buffalo, NY. In 2001 we got 8ft of snow in under 24hrs. We literally had to dig our way out of our front doors. We weren't stuck. We actually drove around in my Jeep digging out people who were. That's one of the best parts about living in Buffalo. People always come together to help each other out when the snow gets to be too much. I know other cities come to a screeching halt after just a few inches, like the following year when I lived in DC. Holy cow! Most powerful city on the planet and it just takes a little snow to close it down! That's funny, being from a city like Buffalo. Actually, we haven't gotten that much snow since then. El nino? Global warming? LOL Who knows. I just know that our skiing has pretty much sucked since.

depends. are there kids there? are there any wips or chains? would I be all alone? if all alone would I have a vibrator? if not all alone would I have an unlimited supply of condoms.
-
I'd shovel myself out and get unstuck. If I didn't have access to a shovel then I would probably be in my car stuck and I would gather up my emergency coat and throw it on along with any clothing I could locate and stay in the vehicle until help arrived. If I felt the need to warm up I would start my car and let it warm up and turn on the heat til I was warm. I'm sorry if this might seem like a bit of an arrogant response but I live in an area where we usually have snows approaching 2 ft at least once a year. I hate snow but I don't fear it.

Sleep. Wake. Pet cat. Take bath in jacuzzi tub. Sleep. Repeat.
-
where i live, get up and go to work.3 feet of snow may close school a day. it would be hard for some but realy no big deal.
-
we usually have that much im from North Dakota
-
i would take a lovely nice long sleep, i'm about due for my hibernation.
-
I would light a fire in the fireplace and just enjoy the solitude with a good book and my husband. :)
-
I'll probably wake up and see all this snow and go outside and refill my cooler with snow and put some drinks in it and sit all day eating, sleeping, computer, watching the game, more eating, take a quick nap, go to the bathroom, come out, eat some fried chicken, drink some soda and sleep again and call my girlfriend over and sleep some more. :D
-
enjoy the time off from work and sleep.
-
Well...I'd say that'd give me a good excuse to play World of Warcraft for 3 days straight :-P.

Dance. Happily. The rest of the country has been getting all of New Hampshire's snow and we are now severely overdue for a huge snow-in. Realistically, there probably wouldn't be too much dancing, but I would be very psyched. I'd probably read, make a lot of mix CDs (provided there was electricity), bake (provided the gas wasn't out)...I could do a lot with three snowed-in days! :-)

One time we took a snowboard, a rope, and a truck to a big, deeply covered in untouched snow, parking lot, and you can put two and two together. It was a riot. Also, before I could drive, I would take my mountain bike out around town with my buddy. We would find a big snow drift, or plowed pile of snow, and go at it at a dead sprint. This usually involved the bike becoming lodged in the drift, and the rider being launched over the handlebars into deep soft snow. This was even more fun than Winter Truck Boarding. Snowball fights and fortresses were also popular, but usually evolved into more deviant actions such as bombing cars with snowballs, and trying to get a footchase with the escape routes already laid out. I don't reccomend this one because it is dangerous. Also once I took my Jeep onto a golf course. It was like a Jeep playground, also highly illegal. But if I was trapped in my house, I would make sure my family around here was ok, then I would just sleep, eat, and read. I've been known to sleep for days, 3 days, no problem.

Only three feet? I'd call my boss and tell him I'd be coming in late, just like last time, or the time before that, or the time before that, or the time before that. Now if there were actually enough snow to trap me at home for three days (over seven feet) I'd be too busy keeping myself, my wife, and my four cats from freezing to do much. We'd likely lose power, so there goes our heat and water; no drinking or toilet-flushing. We're provisioned, but it'd be a bitch.
-
i don't think that it would affect where i live to much. the town bigwigs are not to bright. maybe the new mayor will turn out to be someone who has a brain that works.
-
only 3ft? it never snows where i live and i already know how to get out. my house has plenty of windows higher than 3ft and all the doors open inward. but if i was stuck then i would probobly just find ways to kill time.

in eastern canada 3 feet of snow was what we got when the weatherman called for ocassional flurries.
