    I haven't heard him speak since he coached Notre Dame to a national championship (1989 IIRC) but he sounded okay then. Has he had a stroke?

    I thought it had something to do with ill-fitting dentures, now I feel bad. But yes, I have to admit to changing channels. Great coach and I love to hear his comments, but hard to take. How old is he anyhow?
