Great Movie. Tom Hanks is avery talented actor. Anybody who can make a hour and a half movie with nothing but himself and a volleyball has to be a good actor.

To me, it's one of the worst, and, one of the most overrated films I ever seen. Trite. Candy-box philosophy for seemingly three hours or something grows wearisome. Tom Hanks' acting screamed " I'm acting! Look at me, I'm acting!" the entire movie to me, which pretty much ruined the movie since Tom Hanks never seems to leave. I think he runs a lot for no reason. I kept thinking, "Stop, Forrest, Stop." I thought the movie would never end.
