  • Well what is it that your worrying about, I might be able to help you out more if I know what's causing you to worry
  • Try this. Allow yourself to worry one hour per day. Say from 7-8PM. You are not allowed to worry any other time, but you can worry continuously for this hour. If you start to worry during any other time, remind yourself that you must wait until 7PM to worry. Pretty soon, you'll find that you "forgot" to worry at the appointed time. Also, you need to remember that if it's not something you can do something about, then worrying won't help you.
  • I know you have probably already gone to sleep...but what are you so worried about sophs?
  • I'll try. First, take a walk. Then, take a shower or bath. Now, have some warm milk. Now, listen to me. Everyone has gone to bed. Nothing else is going to happen tonight. You will be fine or at least in the same place in the morning. Nothing you do or think tonight will change anything, but if you rest, you may have some real solutions just pop into your head - maybe even in your dreams. If that doesn't work tonight, it may work tomorrow or the ext night if you will do this - Set your alarm for one hour before you normally awaken. do not allow yourself to sleep in. Get up and start moving. At least in a few days, you will be sleepy. I would also suggest prayer if you are open to that - and don't worry about saying "amen" before you fall asleep. Also - don't eat anything for several hours before bed time and don't watch disturbing television or listen to disturbing music. Some time before bedtime, not right before, write all your worries in a journal. Keep doing this. As problems are solved, go back and record/date them. Let that jorunal also be part of your praying. I hope something here helps. Best wishes.
