Help answer this question below.
Yes a bacon butty is a bacon sandwich.
Mushy peas are dried marrowfat peas which are first soaked overnight and then simmered until they form a green lumpy paste usually served with fish and chips in the UK. A picture is shown below, they look disgusting don't they? I hate them myself but I know people who absolutely adore them.

mushy pies in australia are served on hot meat pies, not like the pommes that eat theirs with fish and chips. and you are right about the bacon butty. when i lived in london, we used to eat it with toasted bread, and i always had to have tomato sauce on mine!
Bacon butty= bap+bacon+usually tomato ketchup or brown sauce. Mushy peas is exactly that; mushed up peas and yes, we do eat them with fish and chips
Yeah. It's a bacon sandwich but its called that because of the excessive amount of butter people use and mushy peas are literally, mushed peas. You can get them in little pots at fish and chip shops like you can also get curry sauce and gravey. =)
mushy peas are actually quite nice and i HATE peas normally.
Yes a Butty is a sandwich, Mushy peas are a mashed form of peas( like a puree) which I believe people eat with Fish and chips with vinegar on them.

Where on earth are you supposed to buy marrowfat peas. Do they come in a can or are they fresh. Never seen them in Canada. They kinda look like thick pea soup which I love. Do they taste like it?
