There are many treatments for Hepatitis C and depending on your genotype you can clear the virus 50 to 80% of the time. The treatment is like chemotherapy and is some form of interferon and an antiviral like Ribavirin. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which reduced the viral load initially.
