Would you say or do something if you saw a parent beating their child in public? What would you say or do?

I would prob run over and try to get the story about whats going on and try to protect the child.

For the most part when I see something like that I thank god for my own sanity.

spanking..nothing..beating another story. I would call 911 immediately and then follow them. If they leave you get a license plate number. If I stood by and did nothing, I would always wonder if that child was ok and it would forever haunt me

If they child is getting the crap beaten out of them I would go and stop it, if the kid's just getting slapped around a little, I'd mind my own business.
