Whenever you do work on a car you're supposed to disconnect the negative battery terminal. This is so the computer can "re-set" the codes. I have been having this problem also. Did a complete tune-up and then had it scanned. Found out it was a fuel injector. You need to find out what the code is. Is your car running rough? Do you run fuel injector cleaner thru every other tankful of gas? You might need to just have the injectors "flushed". It's called a "Motor Vac" and will cost about $100. Sometimes if you didnt get the spark plug in just right or the wire on just right it might cause a misfire.Have you put in a new distributor cap and rotor cap recently? Re-set the cars computer first and see what happens. If your car is running rough it might be one or more fuel injectors.
