I would imagine it is the evolutionary result of learning to walk upright. Since modern man stands up straight instead of dragging their knuckles, we would need the most protection on the tops of our heads, from rain, sun, debris, etc.

Coz v got very good stuff for the growth of hair inside the head

It seems to me that is where the brain is housed and the brain is a pretty important part of the body so it needs protection.There are no muscles that would help protect the brain, so if you had a fall the hair would serve as a cushion. There are many other reasons I can think about.
