    We decorate the Christmas tree during the Thanksgiving holiday as a family with Strauss music. My boys decorate the fireplace with nutcrackers. My husband makes gingerbread cookies with the older child. We make a gingerbread village together. For a table centerpiece, we look around the property to find things we can use. (winter berries/pine cones) All the men folk decorate the house with lights outside. Then, we go on our yearly vacation for a week, and return on Christmas day to enjoy everything we've done.
