Regarding sites that allow registry, is there any risk in not signing out of those websites as oppposed to directly going to another?

If what you mean is "Is it alright to go to the next web site before signing out of the current one", the answer is yes, as long as you are the only person using your computer. Some sites never sign you out unless you purposely do so. This may open up opportunities for anyone sitting at your PC to go back to that site and resume surfing as you. Not all sites are like this - but I'm just saying....... If you want to be completely safe - sign out first.
