  • The notion is preposterous, but it does indicate the wild desperation by mainstream media to anoint the chosen one, as savior. I am sick and tired of left-wing print and broadcast "news" media trying to shape everyone's opinion. They need to be harshly disciplined for their countless sins. Smart folks are changing the channel -- this is especially evident in G.E.'s propaganda arm (e.g., NBC, MSNBC, CNBC). MSNDC has begun lying about their poor showings in network ratings. That will only work for so long before more sponsors and viewers catch on to the game they are playing. Then they will collapse, just like Air America, and soon the New York Times. It is time to short these stocks HARD and profit from their demise. Furthermore, CNN, the authors of the trash piece mentioned, ought to be sued by the National Review for their gross mischaracterization of this and other "news" stories they have concocted recently.
  • No although I could see how you could spin it into looking that way.
  • I think they are in it to the end.
  • Just a little more of the craziness leading up to November 4th. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
  • Both parties and McCain and Obama presume victory. I see nothing wrong with Obama working on his campaign as if he would win it. They wouldn't be in it nor would their parties nominate them unless they honestly believe their nominee could win it. Just like when either McCain o Obama give a speech they both say "When I am President..." when not if but when. Assuming victory is being confident and people like that; however, there is always a thin line between being confident and being arrogant.
  • The ad does seem to suggest that, yes. Otherwise why would Libs get a blank check? . But more disturbing is the fact that most of the scares mentioned - eliminating checks and balances, trying to have a one sided monopoly on power... these are things that Bush worked to create for the Cons very forcefully. The ad also neglects to mention that the "time of crisis" is in very large part due to Bush's near monopoly on power and his misuse of it. . DR Orgy - begin! +5
