Only if it is a cliffhanger. Well last time it looked like it was. This time may not be so close.

Of course. If Obama wins the Republicans, who have demonstrated their expertise at taking genuine Democrat grievances and making them their own - will scream bloody murder.

Don't they say that in every election?

It'll be hard to sell after watching the actual theft in 2000.

Good Question. Ever wonder why people have that feelings? Ever thought about the one who got selected as persident; Why? RK

Well, if by somebody you could mean a single grumpy person, then without a doubt. Conspiracy theorists are everywhere, and they're all watching me...

Call me a cynic, but regardless of who gets elected, things ain't gonna change too much.

Of course..and there will undoubtedly be lawsuits. We are a polarized nation..a very angry polarized nation. Our disgust and dislike for the "opposition" isn't going away after the election. It will be there, kept alive by the "losing" side..conspiracy theories will arise..this is likely to go on forever, because, well, that's who we are as a nation. We believe we are right and "the others" are dead wrong..we don't listen, we don't believe in compromise..we just want to win..winner takes all, loser just sits there angry as he**. It didn't used to be like that..but "we the people" didn't used to be like that either! Very sad :(

depends on how close the race is. people will no doubt be grumbling about the unfairness of the electoral college vs. going by the popular vote, "stolen" votes, hanging chads, acorn, and knows what other conspiracy theories... the memory of george bush stealing the last election is still fresh in everyones minds... lets hope that diebold doesnt have their way in this election!
