I just bought a slimline silver PS2 (e-bay) when I load a disc and press X enter the screen reads "No Data". I've tried two different games (new)... Can some one please help or did I just get ripped off on e-bay?

Probably sent you a non-working PS2. It sounds like your PS2 has either (A.) A dirty laser that needs to be cleaned. or (B.) A broken laser that would need to be replaced.
