Help answer this question below.

Can some one tell me why some women refer to there BF's or Husbands childs mother as the biological mom or there birth mom? If my daughters dad's GF refered to me as something other then my MOMMY I would be irriate!

    I've seen that many, many, times; and I do think it's completely inappropriate. To me, it's a sign that whoever says that has no concept of what being a mother really means. They just see all kids as "kids" - regardless of whose kids they are, so they lump their own kids and their boyfriend's kids into "our kids" - and act as if the child's mother is a thing of the past or out of the picture.

    Mature mothers who have a normal, bonded, respectful, relationship with their own children wouldn't say that about any boyfriend's kids' mother.
