If you have a dog, do you try to stop it from licking (anything that it's licking) because their licking drives you crazy?

YES!!!!!!!!!!! If I had a pulley string and can only repeat 5 phrases for the rest of my life, "Stella!! Stop licking!!!!!" would be one of them. My efforts are entirely futile, though. hah.

Yes my puppy is just lick lick lick lick lick! She used to be bite bite bite but now she thinks I need a bath every time I see her! but I cant exactly yell at her for it I just try to avoid her mouth

Only if it is bad for her (or others). If it's my face, I feel lucky that she loves me so much. She is my bright spot in a dark world.

yes, the sound of a dog licking is like running fingernails across a chalk board......makes my skin crawl.

I had a dog that had this brain disease (forget what it was called) and one of the symptoms was that she would constantly lick the furniture. I saw her lick the wall for 30 minutes straight once and, yes, it was annoying.

No that is part of a normal thing they do. I say let them lick whatever they want.

I love mine licking me. it's his way of saying "I love u". It's when he gets really excited and starts biting when he licks. I would worry if he didn't lick me

I don't like any dogs licking my face. But just tonight my daughter was harrassing my dog, and when he had had enough he started licking the sofa. She said it was because she was 'On the rag' and had been sitting there last night.
