  • Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to this. It depends on many things. Among them are whether you are a bginner or have been lifting for a while, your goals and many others. If I were starting out, I would get "Weight Lifting For Dummies" book. They have a good introduction to weight lifting. I would also start reading "Men's Health" magazine. They have a lot of tips for all levels. Good luck!
