I was previously married and NEVER cheated, but he did. I am in a long term serious relationship and would NEVER cheat on him. I had an affair while married to my ex-wife, three months before the end of our ten year marriage. I regret it to this day. I have never cheated on my current wife, nor do I plan on it. My affair went on for five months before she found out about it. It was the final nail in the coffin of our marriage.

Never, i dont see the point! If you arnt happy, move on... I have been with my partner for 10 years, and i enjoy our sex life enough to not be interested in anyone else. It's my belief that if you've even the thought to go out and cheat, that it's better for everyone that the relationship is ended. A relationship is all based on trust, so if you don't have trust in a relationship, its only a lie that will end up hurting both people in it. My thoughts made more sense in my head... excuse my unabilty to construct decent sentences. I've never cheated, and I never would.

I find it amazing that in a world where, according to satistics I have read and heard (with no claim as to their reliability) that 66% of women and %50 of men have cheated on their spouse or significant other, that only one person so far has "fessed up". What do you define as cheating? Only sexual? Does kissing in a lustful manner count? Does being in love with someone else without ever having had a romantic relationship count in your eyes? I've never had intercourse with another person during my fifteen year relationship, but I've been guilty of all the others and even gotten a killer BJ once.

Never. I always had rules laid out at the beginning of a relationship--no lying, no hitting, and not cheating. All would lead to you getting your butt kicked out the door, and some might also lead to getting your butt kicked. Luckily I never had to deal with any of that in previous relationships, and I don't see that ever happening with my husband.

yes,I cheated after 10 years of marriage he drank, hit me and disappeared alot and had many girls numbers. I cheated to get away which I know was a mistake but I felt it was my only choice at the time. After I told him he said he wanted to stay together but has tormented me now for 5 years saying what a rotten person I am. Maybe sometime people need to cheat to get their self esteem back so they have the guts to leave when they have a husband that is abusing them.
