Don't you think that those telemarketers that harrass us thru the phone are annoying? What do you tell them?

I live in Spain so I just say that I don't speak Spanish. They apologise for bothering me and hang up.

I dont answer them no more, but when I did I use to try to sell them something or ask to borrow money. They usually hang up...

I've never been harassed by a telemarketer. I don't consider them calling once or twice a quarter out of the blue harassment. They are only doing their jobs and trying to make a living. Many of them hate their jobs and the constant negativity they are faced with day in and day out, but are stuck there because of lack of opportunities elsewhere. It's very easy to be rude, cruel and condescending to a nameless, faceless voice on the phone. Not everyone is as lucky as we are to have nice jobs or to have the luxury of being "able" to look down on these people.

I'm on the do not call list and I report anyone who calls me. I do that on the web site.
