I'm first time bike rider. Looking for motorcycle/crotch rocket that would be a good first bike. Been looking at Honda Shadow. Recommendations?

For a first time rider, a cruiser like the Shadow would be a good choice. I'd stay away from the crotch rockets for a while until you are comfortable with a bike. You might check with your DMV. A lot of locals/states offer bike safety classes which are good for true first timers.
