There is no point being unsafe myself, as I would be of no use to anyone. That being said, I have actually gotten someone out of a house fire.

No one can honestly answer that question until a situation happens. Heroes are the ones that never think about it, they just do it, and let the circumstances happen. you get scared after, when you have time to realize what you have just done. I've been there in Vietnam and a few times since and it can be overwhelming on your soul!

Yes. Only because I'm certain I'd have a good chance coming out alive myself, I wouldn't attempt it if I wasn't physically fit enough to ensure some decent odds, just to be heroic, I'd certainly feel a bit more obligated to help because I am in good physical condition, sort of like an off duty fire fighter with boobs, hahaha seriously, yes I would risk my like.

I've daydreamed about it. Would I do it when it actually happens? I don't really know.

Sure I would, why not? I would feel like crap if I didnt, and the person/people died...
