  • More of a comment (from a guy): Does this involve picket fence/horseback riding/bicycle seat stories?
  • there is a medical hymen. its not a complete barrier, so using a tampon or something wont make you 'lose your viginity'. but i can be broken by things like bicycle seats and other accidents. so, basically, yes, she is wrong, there is such a thing.
  • There is a hymen. In a survey I saw, only 43% of women reported bleeding the first time they had sex; which means that in the other 57% of women the hymen likely stretched enough that it didn't tear (or that bleeding was not noticed by the partners).
  • Yes. They exist. You can just have them broken through accidents before you have sex and don't realize it.
  • HYmens do NOT exist, but I know of a few HYwomens!
  • most girls in today's society break their hymens before the age of twelve.
  • To believe in the hymen is to have no understanding of the vagina is to have absolutely no understanding of the vagina. The vagina is not a round open PVC pipe with a clean round opening!!! Geesh! The vagina is a messy fleshy passageway were the sides are actually compressed until something pushes it's way in, the external aperture of the vagina is mushy and bumpy in the exact same way that the interior is. There are very rare cases where the vagina is not completely open (same some happens to men with phymosis, due to lack of handling) but it is normal, a normal vagina is open and ready, an abnormal vagina my be obstructed, an abnormal vagina may bleed on 1st copulation, but this is rare! So to call hymenoplasty a reconstruction is a misnomer, it's really a disfiguration, or a ludicrous construction. The vagina opening is normally open, NORMALLY OPEN. As soon as our societies are done with biblical obsessions, our intelligence will take over and this will become unpainfully obvious to all women Remember LUBE LUBE LUBE (whether natural or synthetic) can save you from pain and blood and all the ridiculous stuff. Educate yourselves.
