you need to load the disc or you wont be able to use your mp3 with the computer. have you tried the disc. i have an mp3 player and it wont work with my computer unless i have the disc in aswell

From what I've seen on forums out there, this mp3 player has a ton of problems. Sorry to say this, but my recommendation is to buy a different brand. I know it's close to Christmas and you may not be able to get it in time, but I'm sure you'd rather get him an mp3 player that is more reliable.

does xp recoginize that you plug the usb in, also make sure the mp3 is power on. Then got to control panel-add hardware-next-install driver from secific drive- click your cd drive then it should auto download.

I have tried going into add hardware and it says that it is searching for hardware that has been connected to my computer recently but not yet installed.Then it comes up with have you already connected this hardware to your computer if i click yes it says select installed hardware device from the list below,if not in list below click add new hardware wich i tried and then loose all concept of understanding.lmao
