  • This basically means you don't have enough physical memory (the little strip circuit boards that are plugged into the motherboard). When the operating system doesn't have enough memory for all your applications, it does "paging" -- writing memory blocks to the hard drive temporarily to free up space. This is VERY slow compared to what would happen if you had enough memory. So buy more. It's not very expensive.
