Set them up? In a home? For a fall?
-
I dunno but I know if my friends tried to do that to me I wouldn't be too keen. Have they asked you previously to find them someone?
-
Yes, don't do it. That's the only way to set someone up without the possibility of them knowing. It's better for people to choose for themselves, the best thing I can tell you is to simply talk to your friend, and say "I think you would like him", or if they don't respond well to that, don't say anything and let them take the initiative when they choose to. You could also ask if they want to be set up, sometimes people DO. Going behind their back is not a good way to build a friendship or a relationship. Keep in mind, this is only my opinion.

Setting them up for what? Disappointment, a prank or just good old entrapment?

Throw a dinner party and see what happens. Don't push it though or you could make enemies fast.
