  • You probably need an ajustment. but the doc would want to see you twice a week for three weeks. instead i would recommend getting a swedish massage. they are generally more common than locating a good chiropractor. there is one kind of chiropractor that watches what you do with certain hand moves or back movements. they are the best. they let the body diagnose itself. i dont know what they are called. physicians are picking up on this self diagnosis pattern as well. still a swedish massage by a man or woman, sixty or ninety minutes, a dollar a minute is the most i would pay. that is time on the table, not spent getting ready or leaving. you could even find a gym health spa and get some jacuzzi time in too. around here there are hot springs with massage appointments. The massage people know their stuff, they will make you feel better faster and longer. its all in your back, or shoulders or joints...places where muscles just need to be reactivated.
  • You need an x-ray. It could be a slipped disk. See a chiropractor, but they're going to want an x-ray before they touch you.
  • Just go to the doc
  • Yes, please go to a chiropractor. They will at least do xrays and try to actually diagnose and treat the problem. Try to find a chiropractor that uses diversified adjustments and that went to a school in IL, NY, or IA (science based schools that teach lots of diagnosis and teach to refer if a problem is found that is out of the scope of chiropractic. And like any doc of any sorts try to find one by human referral so that you know someone has been helped by them! Any doc of any kind can be a good one or bad one.) If you just go to your family doc here is what will happen....they MIGHT touch your back, maybe not....after about 5 mins (if no red flags are triggered by questions they ask that would lead them to believe you have a tumor or cauda equina syndrome) they will almost positively send you home with a prescription for pain killers or muscle relaxers. Maybe, if they are super ambitions (and especially if they get kickback or referral credit) they may send you to a physical therapist. Problem NOT solved. If you do choose a regular family doc, please reply here if the outcome is any different than what I said. It would be a great suprise for me!
