Yes, although I have no proof. It'd make sense, though. If they didn't live together, it makes it seem like marriage was more spur-of-the-moment and more about lust compared to love.

I know people who have tried it both ways. Personally I think it is best to live together for a while before committing to the marriage. The reason is that some things you might not see or hear or experience in overnight stays, you will be sure to become aware of if you live with the person. Sometimes habits, and more importantly, how a person and you get alog when you are around each other for at least 3-5 hours before bedtime and all the time usually over each weekend. Many things can surface personality wise, habits wise and behzvior wise, that you would not be aware of without living with the person. For those reasons, I think it certainly makes sense, and I know people who now wished they HAD lived with their EX spouse before they got married.
