No she likes to rip there head off and leave both sitting there!! on occasion she will eat the head only... She gets a mouse once ever few weeks!!! She is crazy good!!!
-
Nope likes to leave it for me to enjoy
-
Waste not want not. I feed my cat a set amount each day, where he is trim and fit. He hunts to eat often.
-
Hell no... She's too lazy to even get out of bed.
-
I have never allowed him to. We always take them away before he eats them.
-
He is eating our prey! All the fish in the kitchen :(
-
Me noses it and mews pathetically when I take the "prey" away. He even lets bugs hide under him.... he's a very bad hunter.... which I'm actually very happy about.
-
I hope she never does, it's usually my feet.
-
I have 3 cats and one of them does, he's a naughty boy!!
-
I don't have a cat now ~ but when i did ~ she would hunt and kill snakes and mice but never eat them.
-
No, he is an inside cat so when he finds the occasional poor soul mouse or even a grasshopper he just plays with it until it is dead. He does do the presentation at the door for you, which is nice when you need to get rid of it so your house does not stink.
-
She sometimes eats her prey, but more often than not she just beheads whatever the poor unsuspecting victim was and my Great Dane pup thanks her for the gift. Then I have to chase the pup down to remove the disgusting remnants from his grip and tell my husband to dispose of it. Once she left the head of a chipmunk next to the skin. It looked like she made a little chipmunk skin rug and left the head sitting upright for me like the horse head in the bed in "The Godfather". She kills EVERYTHING!!!! She's a little sociapathic serial killer who doesn't discriminate!
-
My cats to slow to catch any prey so i wouldnt know:-)
-
No, just presents it to us. We get frogs, dormice, moths and the occasional bird.
-
A prey ate my cat once
-
One of my cats is afraid of mice! He runs from them. He will eat anything though. He is what they call a "scaredy cat"! I doubt he has ever really caught any prey.
-
One of my cats used to eat Starlings and only leave the feet. One day a hang glider flew over my house which she noticed, and I had visions of finding a pair of trainers in the yard.
-
You mean her toy mouse? She damn tries! Shes an inside cat, so all she gets are toy prey ;3
-
All except for when we took the rabbit away from him!
-
No, one of mine just brings 'things' in and then stuffs them underneath the sofa for me to find, months later.
-
Yes, she is very proud of herself that she taught herself to hunt. She brought in a dead mouse last week. I took it outside and she ate it.
-
My cat can't hunt, she gets into attack mode and then gets confused. http://www.answerbag.com/images/answers/temp/1035430/tmb_emma2.jpg
-
Most of my cats do eat most of their 'prizes'. I usually find a tail of something.
-
He nibbles, which is even more disgusting... Did you know they deliver my newspaper in a handy-dandy dead-snake-shaped wrapper every weekend? No cat door for me...
-
My cat couldnt hunt its way out of a paper back
-
yep, all the time. once she even climbed into a (low) branch on a tree and got a baby squirrel. ok, that one was a little sad. but she sure was proud of herself!
-
Yes, and she prays before she eats her prey. ==================
-
The only prey I've seen them catch is insects and yes, they eat them.
-
When my cats went outside they were lean and ate what they are suppose to...wild creatures....I would find the face and end trails out on the cement....they would occasionally bring me a present...singing a ceremonial song as they brought it to the house....one of my cats loved playing with bunnies....he wouldn't kill or hurt them....he just liked to chase them and sit on them....
-
Only the crunchy bits. She brings the soft parts to me. Needless to say, I am delighted. She takes good care of me! =0 Here is a photo of her learning to catch mice when she was a kitten. That is her Mom coaching. She caught a baby mouse! And also, here is a link to a poem about her: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1028704/i_have_a_cat_upon_my_lap.html?cat=42 Enjoy! :) Suzanne

Just the good parts then they bring it back to their owner to share.
-
I pray that it eats its prey cause if it's in my way, I have to say to my Ray go clean that up okay.
-
yeah if its prey is catfood
-
rats yes other ways nope
-
When he was alive, he didn't eat it but brought it to us to show what he did.
-
About a couple of years ago, we had a cat adopt us (our neighbors moved, and they LEFT their cat - who does that?). She was really sweet, but would prey on the local birds, and bring them to our back door. No, she never ate any of them...apparently, we kept her well fed enough that she just liked to chase the birds. Eventually, the neighbor that moved in next door who has other cats adopted her for their own - and she has a really nice home now. We still get to see her every so often.
-
no - just plays with it until it dies, then leaves it on the doorstep for me to find
-
MY LYNX ARE ALL INSIDE CATS, IF I LET THEM OUTSIDE, I DONT THINK THEIR WOULD BE ANY CATS AROUND.
-
I had one cat who ate seven mice. Usually, she played with her prey. I had another cat who died about four hous after eating a mouse, more than likely poisoned. I don't want any of my cats eating prey de to the possibility of poisoning. I had still another cat who ate a lizard.
-
Everything except primary feathers of birds.
-
My cat does eat her prey, but not completely. My parents' barn cats however are outstanding hunters and much prefer prey they catch to prepared cat food. When the cows come in they are already positioned to pounce on any critters that may run when disturbed.
-
Depends - she generally has a good shout about it and needs lots of praise before she leaves it as a pressie or chomps it all bar the intestines. She gets through field mice, birds, lizards (though they usually get away as they have this funky trick of shedding their tails or playing dead then pegging it) ,grass snakes and once a mole. She likes to play with them and seems awfully disappointed when they stop playing with her - generally when they're dead!
-
When we had a cat it left more stuff at the door like it was saying hey dude look what I brought home.
