A farmer. I had a go at it too, but I got mauled by a giant turkey, and helped give birth to a lamb. I would just like to say 'the miricale of creation' may be a beautiful thing, but the birth is not! Especially of a sheep.

The very first thing I remember wanting to be.. was a mommy. I played mommy and dreamed mommy all of my childhood. Then around nine I wanted to be a mommy and a missionary. Now, at thirtysix, when I grow up I want to be an OBGYN doctor! haha

I wanted to be a model!!! HA! Just kidding, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but couldn't afford the schooling. Now, I have more than enough critters to care for by managing a pet store. All types of ailments and feeding schedules. I guess in my own way I still was allowed to do what I wanted-take care of animals.

I wanted to be a doctor. I was FULLY COMMITTED to being a doctor until I got sick when I was 20. I tried to see if I could still do it and be a doctor, but the shrink said "no". So now I,m a webmaster online.

I've had many things I wanted to grow up to be, a teacher, an astronaut, an artist, a pediatrician, even a serial killer. Right now I'd like to study the subconscious mind. I'm still growing up and still surviving, but not really doing anything yet to pursue it. (I've been shot down with my ideas a few times by a parent or two.) I don't think it's just a dream, or at least I hope not. I know my first ones were.

I always wanted to be a Veterinarian. I did a year of work experience at a Vet Surgery and everything, and chose all my senior subjects to fit the requirements of the vet course. It was however an OP 2 course (I only got an OP3) and involved me moving and doing a REALLY intense course. Im about to start a Psych degree now though, and Im much happier than I think I would have been doing Veterinary science. (OP's are a ranking you recieve when you graduate Highschool in Queensland, Australia. The top rank is 1 and the bottom is 25. All graduating students are graded on that scale :) .)

I wanted to be an attorney. Somewhat strange for a young girl, but I knew that's what I wanted to do. I believe I am going to try and start law school next fall. I am a paralegal now, so I believe I'm on an okay path. *For the record, I told my mother when I was little I wanted to be a Nun once. Didn't sit well with her because we are Jews.*

When I was little, my ambition stretched as far as being happy (and, for a brief period, being a washing machine) Unfortunatly, I never DID become that washing machine, and sadly I never think I will *breaks down into tears* However, as thinngs are at the moment, I am.... happyish. Happier than I have been in a long time, but not jumping for joy. Yet. However, as much as I think I have, I still haven't grown up, so I am sure I have plenty of time. Right now, I am trapped, but hopefully not for long. And you never know... perhaps one day I WILL be a washing machine!

I always wanted to become a doctor. My babybook, that has details such as my birthweight, first words, likes and dislikes, friends at school etc, even states this. This is currently work in progress, but that progress is going well. Clinical training starts in August!

When I was really little I wanted to be either a cop or a wildlife biologist. When I grew up a little I wanted to work with kids. The job title changed frequently but I always wanted to work with kids. I am know going to college to be a childlife specialist. They work on pediatric units.

When I was young, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However, as I aged, I realized that I could not do that job. I could not handle the suffering I would see and losing patients. I wound up in the medical field, in a lower level position, funny to say. I am a phlebotomist, have worked as an industrial nurse, have worked hospice. I feel that with hospice I can make a difference with the dying patients. I think if I could choose my field of endeavor these days it would be somewhere in the sociological sciences.

When I was in elementary school, I read a sci-fi novel about a terra-forming colony on Mars. I then wanted to be a space faring scientist, and wanted to be the guy who controlled one of the giant mountain sized machines, a terraforming atmosphere generator on a Martian colony. ... then, I was introduced to martial arts, and wanted to be a grand master. I now hold 5 university science degrees, and probably could run an atmosphere generator ... and I hold a 7th degree black belt and am gradually getting closer to becoming a real grand master.
